Comedy Gives Back
Since 2022, Lucky Birds Media has been providing pro bono video services for Comedy Gives Back, the non-profit safety net for the comedy community.
At CGB's Laughing for Good event at the legendary Hollywood Improv, we were able to capture the magic armed only with an iPhone and the help of headliner Sarah Silverman.
Bad Shorts
Created by and starring Deanna Moore and Ben Zelevansky, Bad Shorts is the sketch comedy series that makes you laugh, makes you think, then makes you think about laughing.
Nominated for a Writers Guild Award in 2015, multiple episodes of the show were also featured in the iOWest's Annual Scripted Comedy Festival.
The Dead Authors Podcast
Lucky Birds Media co-produced and contributed special written material to Paul F. Tompkins' Dead Authors Podcast throughout its live run at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles.
LBM also produced promo videos for each chapter of the podcast — like this one, featuring Kristen Schaal as a slightly befuddled Tenneessee Williams.
High School Sex
Reality Show
Lucky Birds Media's parody of the MTV megahit 16 and Pregnant took a more mature look at how pregnancy affects teenagers.
With more than two million views, High School Sex Reality Show became one of Funny Or Die's most popular user-generated videos, and it was featured frequently on both their home and YouTube pages.
Unleashed
Back when "new media" was just a pup, Unleashed was already at the front of the pack. The show followed a group of animal actors and was a regular feature in the iTunes Top 25 and on YouTube's homepage.
In an unprecedented deal for the time, Unleashed was also licensed by the Purina Pet Care company for their Petcentric website.
