Jason & Nicole

What It Is

The real estate broker team of Nicole Grandelli and Jason Lanyard needed a video that could quickly and creatively show prospective clients their personality, business philosophy and unique process.

What We Did

In order to let their true personalities shine through, we conducted an interview with Jason and Nicole that let them talk about each other in a relaxed and genuine manner. We also documented them as they went about their business, shot a separate interview with a satisfied client and handled all the post-production and graphical elements for the video.

The Princeton Review

What It Is

By focusing on preparation and practice, the Princeton Review helps students improve their performance in the classroom and on standardized tests, while their website helps parents, teachers, students and schools navigate the complexities of college, professional and grad school admissions. Lucky Birds Media has been meeting a wide range of the Princeton Review's multimedia needs for more than three years.

What We Did (Most Recently)

In 2010, The Princeton Review, in partnership with the United States Green Building Council, released the first, free comprehensive guidebook solely focused on institutions of higher education who have demonstrated an above average commitment to environmental sustainability. In order to help spread the word about the guide, TPR contracted with us to produce this promotional video.

What Else We Did

To coincide with the launch of their LSAT Logic Games Workout book, the Princeton Review asked Lucky Birds Media to create a video featuring National LSAT Content Director Andrew Brody. Working with the editorial and public relations teams at the Princeton Review and Random House, we produced this short promo.

But Wait, We Did More Still!

When TPR parted ways with their previous media vendor, they asked the Lucky Birds team to take over the authoring of a series of DVDs that accompany their popular Cracking series of test prep books (Cracking the SAT, Cracking the GMAT, Cracking the GRE and Cracking the LSAT). We recreated each of the four DVDs from the previous vendor's existing raw materials, made some necessary upates to the content, and delivered masters for reproduction to Random House. In addition, Lucky Birds Media created a series of videos to introduce the new editions to customers. These videos kick off each of the DVDs, and also appear on Amazon.com.

What It Is

When Safeway Management Group, a transportation industry resource for the outsourcing of safety management, contract labor, training and maintenance services, needed a way to inform customers about their new turnkey human resources solution, they turned to Lucky Birds Media to create a promotional video.

What We Did

Working in close consultation with the client, we developed an outline for the video that covered all the key elements of the RemoteTransportPro.com solution. After expanding that outline into a finished script, we cast the host, scouted and secured the locations, and assembled a crew of experts to shoot the piece in Manhattan and Brooklyn. After a brief period of post-production, the video was ready for delivery to SMG's existing client base via DVD, as well as throughout the industry via the Safeway Management website.

Unleashed

What It Is

Unleashed is an animated comedy show that follows the trials and tribulations of animal actors in Hollywood. A production of Lucky Birds Media, Unleashed debuted in July of 2006, and has been a featured pick on YouTube, iTunes, Veoh, and blip.tv, reaching as high as #16 in the iTunes directory of Top 100 Comedy podcasts.

In 2009, Unleashed caught the eye of the good people at Purina, who licensed the show as a feature for their Petcentric site.

What We Did

The Lucky Birds Media team created the concept for this labor of love years before anyone had heard the word "podcast." Once technology caught up to us, we plotted the episodes, wrote the dialog, performed the scripts, recorded and edited the audio, animated the show, and distributed it across the web. Unleashed is a great example of the scope of what Lucky Birds Media can do, as well as a testament to our ability to get a big result from a small (or in this case, non-existent) budget.
