Polly Want An Actor?

For someone who didn't set out to be an actor, I've ended up doing a fair amount of acting. A lot of the directors and other performers I've worked with have told me I have a very natural style, which I think comes from studying improv. Improvisation teaches you to be involved in the moment, to listen and respond honestly and intelligently. I try to make my scenes more like a conversation and less like recitation of dialogue, and people have been pleased with the results.
